Happy PC Repair Terms and Conditions Agreement

The End User shall be responsible for saving or backing up data contained on any computer that Happy PC agrees to re-image, repair or service. Happy PC shall have no responsibility for such data and shall have no liability arising out of the loss of such data. If Happy PC agrees to save any End User data, the allocation of risk is reflected in the price of this service which is provided at no cost to the end user. Happy PC does not perform any data recovery services and shall not be held liable by anyone for the loss of data, nor will they be liable for indirect, special incidental, consequential, or other damages, however caused, arising out of the re-imaging process, repair or service of the computer and whether or not the End User has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

The Customer requests and authorizes Happy PC to examine, modify and attempt to repair stated problems found with the computer system, data storage device, all files and any peripherals. Any/all other problems observed that were not originally agreed on for repair will be deferred to the Customer for further action.

Unless otherwise agreed, Happy PC is not liable for and you agree to not hold Happy PC and it’s owner harmless from any and all damages, costs, and expenses incurred as the result of any defect or damage to any software or data residing or recorded in your computer, whether incurred during the course of Happy PC services or otherwise. If service involves transferring information or installing software, you represent that you have the legal right to copy the information, to use the software and agree to the terms of the software license, and you authorize hold Happy PC to transfer the information and accept such terms on your behalf in performing the service.

Your payment for the actual costs incurred and the final sum owed, is due upon completion of services. Should it be determined in the course of the performance of diagnostics that the problems on your computer are hardware based, Happy PC will notify you of the necessary actions to take to resolve the issue at hand and what the extra parts, if needed, will cost; diagnostic fees may still be applicable.

The Happy PC warranty only applies to the part/service, not including software, completed for 90 days. Warranty for removal of viruses, spyware, adware or malware is 7 days; if they are the cause of a repeat effort, you will be charged again for that service. Any repairs made by Happy PC may void the factory or supplemental warranty on your computer/device. If your computer/device needs repair and it is covered by warranty, Happy PC recommends that the customer contact the entity that sold or manufactured the computer/device for information about repairs covered under warranty.
